Question Ring 27


Does anyone remember the Ring 27 I have had one for nearly two years now and still don't know much about it, mine has twin 5.7 mercruisers and was built in 1989.
I would be gratefull if anyone had any info.

Tony Davis bought the moulds from Mike for the 21, 24 and 26 sports cruisers and marketed them as 'Extreme Marine'. The hull mould for the 26, was actually the 27 cruiser mould, but only the running surface and about 2/3s of the topsides were used when producing a 26 sports boat. I think Mike only made a handfull of 27's.

Tony has sinse sold the 26 moulds on to Paul Ross, who is developing a larger boat from them, see this thread:

Mike Ring is a member on this forum and would I'm sure be pleased to help you with any questions. He looks a bit scarey, but he's actually quite a nice bloke, and looks bloody good for a 87 year old.
