Ring 18

When I bought the boat there was a fixed ladder on the port quarter but had to remove it for two reasons: 1) it rattled when I was driving and bugged the hell out of me 2) I wanted to fit the tabs and there was a space conflict.

As we use the boat purely for pleasure the kids and guests are forever climbing in and out and I didnt want them using the tabs as a step in case they broke the ram. In the end I bought two "folding steps" from the local chandlers and fitted them.

They are not ideal when there is some chop on the water as it difficult to see them since they are submerged but they are there if needed and do help.

They are also unobtrusive and certainly don't affect the handling of the boat.

Quick fix for a few quid.

Cheers
Dave

I will take a pic for you, but mine literally has a fold away foot plate. I dont have tabs, but i doubt this would conflict anyway, its tiny, but really is all you need
