I know Bernico, they are pretty cool boats but I belive they are quite heavy and they need a lot of HP to go fast
Do you maybe know any websites where can I find boats for sale??
Thanks
Mike

Personally for your proposed use i would recommend Bernico but then I am biased , Mine weighs just over 600kg (575 min for our class) & still holds 1.8 ltr OCR Record , However all your looking for is something fast & practical !! so Phantom 18' 19' 20' 21' Ring 18'20'21' best to decide on your budget first
Bob
Yes Mell's advice is quite right !!

You need to chill!
The same 'recomendation' from Mike K, or even Gav, would be understandable, and i'm sure they would have given their 2-peneth given time, but when someone joins the forum, asking for advice, it seems odd to dish it out without personal experience.
You're understandably excited by your new arrival, and i'm sure you want to shout it from the rooftops, but your reaction to this is disproportionate.
take a chill-pill

New Boat
A New Union Flag Bernico of course , have been involved with some slight mods for the new 2005 model (its only a bit late) but definately going to be out for 2006 . I suppose that will make it the 2006 model !!

I didnt reccomend anything! I saw the usual suspects, P21/Ring 21, so I said, and I quote, "Seaquel 600XS " which was not a reccomendation in any shape or form and that is clear given the fact I didnt say anything about them! Had I of woffled on about 'what its like' then fair enough. All I did was name another boat for Mike G to consider. You got the wrong end of the stick and read too much into my 2 word comment and I think that you admit that!
I am chilled out I just get the hump when people take what I have got the say the wrong way and thats usually you JF as you seem to use every chance you get to take a pop at/take the piss out of what I say.

I thank you MrRob for your loyalty to the seaquel 600! top man!
And agree that you didnt actually recomend, just suggest another option. This is why i dont jump and suggest a 600 every time someone asks this sort of question! its not a "household" name so questions will arise when it is mentioned, especially from phantom/ring enthusiasts, which i am in no way knocking!!!! i have recently been out in Ian Sterlings p21 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and thought the boat handled fantastic.
peace man!
gav
