RMYC Poole membership

I am looking to join the RMYC in Sandbanks to:
get involved in some of the racing organisation etc,
to race one day,
get a swinging mooring for the Tomahawk.

Is anyone a current member or knows someone who can help me?

cheers

TD was a member, as was I for a few years. You do indeed have to be Proposed, and seconded. then the first years membership is double price (joining fee).

It's a nice club, and not as stuffy as you might think.

They have rooms there you can rent overnite which they call 'cabins'. I regularly used these when down working on the race boat, or mine, and 'Davis Towers' was at full capaciy.
