RMYC Race

I was out with the dog at half six Sunday afternoon on the moor at Brockenhurst when wafting in from the Solent was the unmistakeable sound of Cinzano making her way home to Drivers, it more than made up for not being able to make it to Poole...and if I could hear them 4 miles inland what would those new Ilmores have sounded like up close?
absolutely amazing I'll bet....someone put them on tape pleeeease!

Mike

Twin Ilmores on full song

Everytime I have an off day and think my project is never ending I just go to link below. If Microlink goes to Coniston next year I think I will be going just to hear those twin Ilmores singing.

Turn up the volume and enjoy

Yup Mike, you are quite correct it was us, we had a really nice run back with Markus' son Vincent in the boat. Nice little popple on the water and we were running at just over 85 knots down the Solent. Overtook a Cougar 225 Honda going up Southampton Water like he was standing still, I think it gave him a bit of a shock!

Cinzano Noise

From onboard she's not actually that noisy as we leave most of the noise behind! Actually we are just looking at a new intercom, (need to talk to Pookie on here), as the current one is not loud enough. Windnoise is the main issue as at circa 100MPH you are totally exposed to the draft. If you are running into a 20 knot headwind as well then you have 120+ MPH over the deck.
The noise that you can hear though is terrific!
