OH MY GOD!

Foolish, I used to have a Wellcraft excel 23SL myself and I had the exact same problem you had. I had to replace both stringers and the transom!
6 months of pure hell! It turned out well in the end but Im not sure I will do that kind of work again.

Have you got any updates on your boat?

Hi All, Probably not the right thread for this question, but, I'm looking for a pair of hand rails, like those on the bow of this boat, for a P21. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

looks like Wellcraft were employing cheap labour around the time they built our boats....

I finally got it on the water in August, (7 months after buying) but only for a quick potter up the Thames. Spent the rest of the year sorting the bodges made during re-assembly & sulking about missing both poker runs
Under wraps at the moment waiting for the weather to change so i can move it to the coast

some pics ....
