Round Britain Celebration Party.

Have just started a Group re the above on Facebook called Round Britain Historic Reunion Group All things and pics re the three Round Britain Races of 1969, 1984 & 2008 plus of course details of the celebration party in June. If you are interested in Offshore Powerboat Racing this will be the place to find out what it was like for those men & women who took part over the last 49 years racing up to 20 miles offshore for up to 200 miles every day for 10 days.

Interesting to note that no other country in the world has ever run a long distance race like this one. The Italians came close with their Venice to Monte-Carlo race but the RB races were/are longer.

And the English have yet to win it!!
