Question Shakespeare design 910138

Anyone know details about this boat type. It is 4,7 m long and 1,88m wide?

Any help is appreciated.

New on the forum with many pics if required.

I'm pretty sure they were called "Avon Specials" as Bill Shakespeare was based in Tewkesbury on the river Avon.

Also pretty sure that Steve Baker Senior, father of Mr. Phantom Steve Baker, raced one at the Kent Boat and Ski Club in the Mid 60's.

Unbeatable at the time.

Shakespeare

There is a book written by Bill Shakespeare on Powerboat Racing published in 1968.

There is a copy currently available on Ebay.
