Anyone here no much about these boats?

I've only seen a couple of pictures of them, so far I like what I see and want to see some more!

I read that they only did 40 something mph with a 200hp inboard... Seems a tad dull...

Reason I ask is that i've seen one advertised in hampshire with a 6.2 ltr V8... Anyone know the boat?

Any info appreciated...

Cheers, Andy

This one?

I looked into it when i was selling my last shakespear. Seems like a nice boat, but must be a bit cramped being just 20ft long. Just didn't seem right to me, and yeah, a bit slow. I'd imagine it'd take some serious supercharging to get it to 70.
Need to loose that horrendous wake tower too! Poor cat.

Cheers for the link Larby... the page wouldn't open on my mac...

So its been for sale for a while then? The older results on google show it was up for £12k... Could be slightly cramped, but it looks to have less foredeck then my R21... It does look very nice though, i've asked for a few more pictures...

The boat in the report that said 47mph was with 200hp... Would the extra 120hp be enough to get it doing 60mph?

Pro-rig - It has a 2007 6.2ltr Mercruiser (not sure what the mpi bit is lol), and from the pictures it looks like the exhausts are straight through... (not sure on the drive either!) Do you know the boat? Like Larby says, it has a nasty wakeboard tower fitted to it!

Cheers for the replies!

Andy

mpi is fuel injection. the only reason i ask is because i fitted a 6.2 mpi into one of these a few years ago. We replaced the engine from a 4.3 efi and fitted the straight thru exhausts. it didnt have a tower though so it might not be the same boat. have you got a pic of it and i can tell u straight away. Is the boat white? Rob

Oh cool, did you test it at all with the 6.2 motor in? Any idea how it went?

Would be interested to know how much space it has on board compared to say an R21?

Cheers mate, appreciate the info!

Andy

haha. no not really...

If I don't use something for a couple of days I get fed up with it and start looking for something else! But looking outside it is rather sunny today... So I'll get to take her out again...

Just seems like an interesting boat, would be nice to see some proper pictures of it going...

(on a completely different subject) Have you ordered all the helmets/lifejackets yet?
