Sharp 19?
Hi there!
I just had this boat added to my little collection. I was told it was a Sharp 19 but I'm not sure. Therefore I have 4 questions for y'all.
1. Is it a Sharp 19?
2. Could you tell med anything about the brand and the model? History etc?
3. Pictures of Sharp 19 would be much appreciated. Could you help me with that?
4. Does anyone have experience of Sharp 19? Please tell me everything.
Thank you!

That little "dig in" sounds a bit lika the classic Argo hook.... been there, done that
What kind of power can you put on a Sharp 19? I have an old Mariner 150 from 1989. Would that be suitable?
The plan for the boat is to redo all stringers and put in a new transom. Wood free is the plan. Also a new paintwork.

Do you have any pics of your boat you could share?
Do you have any info on the boat? Who made it? Where? When etc?
Thanks!

Thanks mate. Good looking boat. I really like the design och the deck on the Sharp.
I actually bought my Sharp without ever seeing it exept from the pic I added i the first post in this thread.
Does the bottom have a pad or something? Or is i completely conventional?

Sorry don't have any other pics. I have not even seen the boat i real life yet
I will go and get the boat in the beginning of august. There is loads of work to be done on it, new stringers, new transom and new interior.
Pics would be great. Thanks mate!

Nice looking boat, the Sharp. Where they not modeled on the Phantom hull? I think i read somewhere they where, could be wrong though.
How does the Sharp compare in performance/sea worthyness against the Phantoms and Rings? Once again i think i read they are quite a bit heavier than the Phantoms. Has there been any successful race winning Sharps? And you dont see as many for sale as Rings or Phantoms.

Hi I had a sharp 19 on 2001 ,i didn`t use much ,so i cannot say much as i sold it on , it was an old hull, i can only say that i have used phantoms and some rings and sharp can`t be compared to them especially on the rough, my sharp used to come apart ,bottom delaminated ,floor etc , can`t say it happened because it was an old hull or due to construction.
I think sharp was not a copy of Marshan hull.

I was always told Sharps were more of a river boat, not laid up to endure offshore seas, have heard of many falling apart, a guy had one in Guernsey with a brand new 175 outboard on, came back from herm, moored it up, next day it had sunk as he had split the hull!!!!

I've searched like hell both on here, Google and on other forums but can't find much.
But I'll keep searching.
Thank you all for input so far!
