CE came in in June 98, so you'd have to build 7 year old boats!!! Or you could do what a lot of other people do and just ignore it!

You can't sell a new non ce boat for 7 years (may have altered) which would normally be a self build.

You could build them as race boats, Mike Vincent did a few for Honda a couple of years ago to race alongside my 21's, as a junior class with I think a 50hp Honda 4 stroke, but it didn't take off.

I'm certain there would be a (limited) market for them, as there isn't an alternative other than a 16 from Phantom UK

Don't know what the value would be, How much is a Phantom 16?but the costs to certificate them wouldn't be very much, could probably get the money back with the first couple of boats.

When Mike Ring built them, he reckoned that he would gel the hull & deck on Monday morning, and the customer would collect a fully fitted boat on the Saturday!

It probably still had a longer cure time in the mould than a Bayliner!

Cheeky ginger nobber, your 28 didn't exactly fly out the workshop did it!! Rumour has it Steve rushed it towards the end of the build as you'd spent so much time watching him build it that he was worried you'd be joining his pension scheme!

TD's 'six month cure' process? we're beating that with a six month wax and tape up process at the moment

I only started off wanting a nice boat for some wakeboarding
