The Sort Of Speed You Should Get From A Shitty Engine Like That Would Be About 45 Mph If You Are Lucky Stick A Decent Engine On It Like A Top End Merc Or Mariner Even A Seagull Would Be Better

If you could post your gear box ratio i have a formula for working out theoretical speed. it has always been within a couple of mph.
All the best

I would have thought that with 225hp you would be getting closer to 70 mph with the right prop.
My 21 with 200 opti runs around 65ish flat out.

Clive jones is in charlton. he may be one of the nearer people to you.
Phantomuk.co.uk
He may be able to help you with a motor too.
He does my boat work.
I took the liberty of loking up your engine spec and it showed a 1:86 gear ratio.
A merc will push you faster as they are alot lighter.
A 23/24p prop would do nicely, i would say a 4 blade too.
Remember that the pitch rate of a prop is all theoretical. set up means everything.
