Stolen boat

I know it's not what is usually talked about on this site (and I know I am over on a fleeting visit from Ribnet!) but my mate has had his boat stolen FROM HIS DRIVEWAY!! Details are below. Obviously any information to the Hampshire woodentops please!! Thanks, this is the info he sent me!

16.5 foot Warrior fishing boat stolen yesterday from Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh - believed to be stolen by maroon/burgundy 4x 4 at lunchtime, they tried taking on Tuesday.

The boat is white, no name, has full navigation lights, blue cover with blue pedestal seats and blue back bench, front anchor locker.

The engine is a 75 hp Mariner - now knackered as they drove it away without raising the engine - the end of my drive tells the story.

Indespension (3?) braked trailer.

Boat ref or HIN was WBT00001F300, the 1 might be an I.

Engine serial nr OT788698.

LOL, It wasn't mine either (mine's black!)

I've asked him for some pics, as soon as I have some I'll get them posted.

That's a real bummer!

I can't help thinking, that if it's theft was attempted on tuesday, why was it still there on thursday? I'd have moved it somewhere, as the writing was on the wall.
These fkkrs make me sick, and their front is gobsmacking.

I truely hope your mate gets his boat back.

PS. Can I talk you into ditching that rib, and buying a real boat?

Like all these things it the Tuesday escapade was only discovered when the police started interviewing neighbours etc. It sounds like they scouted it Tuesday and then returned to drive it off yesterday!

Wankers!

They should cut their fkkn hands off.

We need Sadam as mayor of Hampshire, he'd sort a few things out.

Real bummer
My next door neighbour had his caravan stolen off his drive, another neighbour saw it happening and followed it, he called the police but was told to back off as it could be dangerous but unfortunatly they didn't have anyone available to follow instead because they were too busy.

About a month ago I at our local post office I was informed of an attempted burglary a few miles away from us.

Apparently, the burglar got his timings wrong and tried to enter the house whilst the owner was at home. Naturally the owner did not take kindly to this and managed a couple of shots with his 38 at the offender who rather understandably fled and curiously left some of his personal possessions.

The description of the person I was told to look out for was "nervous, possibly bleeding and shoeless"
