Taz, going back to the thread, don't forget one major issue: depreciation. The old Sunseekers will have all depreciated about as much as they can go. I sold mine for more than I paid for it after a year and some cosmetic tidying up, (at vitually no cost). The American boats are still plumeting in value but if you by the Mohawk you can then sell it in a few years and effectively loose nothing- sounds to good to be true ! So my advice would be buy the Mohawk or the Monterey if you are not worried about the wrap around windscreen. A Mohawk still looks like a modern boat, is built well, (unlike modern ones), may be a bit thirsty if you run flat out but of course you have the added safety of two motors. For me it was a no brainer, I looked at the US boats and then brought an old Sunseeker.

Yes i know what you mean the hulls are so nice and well built didnt even see a gel crack. The mohawks seem to be forsale for along time though so that put me off a bit incase u wanted a quick sale. That 292 regal really makes you feel your buying a wreck compared though. And blimey those penta legs look so old it needs mercruisers. The sunseeker looks better, better made but with dated engines. So diff to decide
