Superhawk 40 with Buzzi Trimax and Yanmars

Hi all first post here although I have been lurking for a while since looking at Huntons (very intrigued by Peter Unwin's Cheetahs!)

However have decided that a 37 is too small for our needs. We are trying to sell a 2002 Camargue 44 - we just don't need the accommodation it offers any more. We are seriously interested in a Superhawk 40 with the Buzzi trimax system. We would like to Drystack the boat at Portchester but we are struggling to verify whether it will be able to be lifted by the fork lift. I don't believe there are any SH40s in the Solent area that they could trial lift (if we buy one it will come from the Med probably). The weight is not the issue it is the balance point and compared to a Hunton 43 the engines are further forward because of the trimax drives does anyone have any details on the SH40 trimax weight and balance so to speak?

Cheers in advance

G.

put a call into Sunseeker and they will send you original engineering drawings which include a marker for centre of gravity and sling points. Also gives you displacement weights and precise measurements....

They gave me same for my Superhawk and been very useful....

Do you have any particular names - all the people we used to deal with (have had 3 new boats over the years) at the factory have left. One of the SS brokers have been trying to get this info for us but unsuccessfully so far.

cheers

Hmm in the mean time I found this which does show a SH40 with trimax drives on a fork lift but I have no idea where or what the fork lift is and if it would be able to lift and lower to extremes etc.
