The ultimate magazine for all Powerboaters & RIB owners

From the office of RIB Magazine:

One Magazine to serve the ‘Powerboat and RIB’ market – One Show to promote the industry.

Oyster House Media and Events is delighted to announce that as from the 1st of January 2012, RIB Magazine will be rebranded and renamed Powerboat & RIB. This is in response to other key titles in this sector having being suspended and a desire on the part of OHM to provide a single, comprehensive magazine that will cover all forms of powerboating, whether they are RIBs, hard-hulled leisure craft, race boats or professional offshore vessels. Likewise, RIBEX will also be re-branded to reflect this new direction.

We are delighted that many leading companies have truly welcomed this news and are already pledging their support. In the light of this, we can confirm that Powerboat & RIB will be published on a bi-monthly basis and that no increases in advertising rates will be made over and above those previously charged in RIB Magazine. This in recognition of the challenging economic market that the marine industry is facing. The new magazine will be on sale in time for London International Boat Show and will feature a whole fresh stock of material that will continue to be developed and expanded in the months to come. With essential and exclusive contributions from the RYA, international event Organisors, professional maritime experts, plus a hand-picked team of leading journalists forming the nucleus of our expanded writing team, Powerboat & RIB will carry highly informative and timely information throughout its pages.

Benefiting from its existing RIB Magazine readership and distribution, built up since 1994, Powerboat & RIB will be available in printed and digital format, have its own exclusive website and be the chief media partner to our Gunwharf Quays powerboat show. An iTunes App is currently also being developed for future release. The new magazine will be sold in WHSmiths and leading independent newsagents throughout the UK and likewise be sold worldwide via print and digital subscription. Investment will be also be made by OHM to supply the magazine to Yacht Clubs, RYA training establishments and marinas in order to publicise the market and the pastimes it represents.

Features for the next issue include:
