Is it not possible to just remove the ITS and run the bravo drive to reduce cost?

Edit: Woah!! I've just seen the size of it's pad!!

I haven't decided yet to be honest, id like to have her on the water for next years celebrations but i want to build her right first time so if it takes longer and more money then so be it. Im just glad i found something i like.

Personally, i dont think it will steal your thunder mate, the progress will be to slow to hold peoples attentions. I will be watching your progress as i have fond memories of your boat prior to its "lite relief" days, it used to corner like it was on rails.

Good point, I guess it would be high due to the setback built into the ITS? I've got a lot to learn about these drives!!

Cool, I'm sure the velocity will be an amazing boat once she's done!
What are the memories of mine before her 'lite relief' days?? I never knew she was anything else! I still can't decide exactly what to do with the exterior/colour scheme on her. In fact, I'm gonna start a thread on it!

She was a pleasure boat when Pete Berrow first built her. Back then a group of us used to do a lot of water skiing and Pete used to come along with Shelley Jory and watch.

Thats good to know! I was under the impression she was built from the start as a racer! Don't suppose you've got any photos? Sorry to hijack!

Really pleased to see you started a build thread I was going to ask about this, this morning but now know need especially since this boat caught my attention since being posted on Offshore and I must admit it was tempting to throw in an offer but to much on my plate really at present for this kind of project

But good luck really keen to see how it turns out

Just received the original build spec of this boat:

This boat was originally built with a Mercury racing 575 sc engine with a bravo XR high-performance transom assembly.

I have instructed Velocity to undertake some fit out work in their workshops prior to handing it over to my Shipping Agents.

Should start its journey to the UK in another a weeks time.

Meanwhile, im cleaning out and painting my garage in preperation for a kettle and a gross of biscuits.

I'm only up the road if you need a hand, I could take a look at the boat as well.
