2x 11.3 L Isotta Fraschini L1306 - 588 kW.
despite the seats did not look like a comfortable ride...
At the claimed 80mph is this really the fastest production diesel boat?

the maximum speed limit for p1 supersport is 85 mph and they are production boats so for instance microlink pc the hustler boat powered by diesles.

The Hustler went over 90 at Coniston this year and they offer that as a standard boat. The Top Gear boat is much bigger than the Sunseeker XS's, and Peter Dredge (John Puddifoots predecessor) is involved in the project. Neither did RB08 or competed in P1 Evolution.

I prefer the look of Weetpunt though; I think the XSMG is has a nice profile, but looks too tall for its beam from other angles.

The 48' Buzzi 'stab' 'Wettpunkt.com' and Dredge's XMS share the same running surface as I understand it. Dredge and Sanderson have produced the faux Porsche-look deck to fit the Buzzi 48 hull, though the hull topsides are clearly different to a std Buzzi as well.
Not my bag at all, but looks like some nice work.
As practical as the stab system might be, I think it's pig ugly.
I'd rather have a straight FB55, as I prefer the 'function dictates form' look of Buzzi's stuff. The XMSG is a bit dressy for me, probably go down well with the Reggie fans.

I was quite suprised to hear that it's max speed was 80, as I thought the original claimed speed was 100. Seems to have had a £250k price increase as well.
Nice to see me ole mate Dredge looking well though.
