Turbinator

Yes I know things have been moving along slow but finally the boat is now prepped up ready for its paint job!
What do you guys think of the design? Is it over the top or does it suit the boat.

Hi Jason I new your boat when it was Drambuie and then Quiver with the Gentry Turbo motors. Has it still got the pumping stezza as installed by J Miller? what drives will you be running on? Have you redone the interior?

It had a rediculous stereo system installed which used to shake you to bits when it was wound up. Don't know too much about the boat, it was first sat in the shed in Merlin Boat Park Southampton as Drambuie under tarpaulins for years and then J Miller purchased the boat and immediately had it sent off to Poole to be repainted (about 1996) the logo was done the same as his 6 litre boat All of a Quiver. Whilst Miller had it it was very unreliable with the Gentry motor's. The only time it was used regularly was when it was shipped to the south of France for a couple of weeks on the back of a lorry. It did have a tripple axle yank trailer that was modified to take another six litre cat called offshore Jockeys. When it came back from france it appeared to be about a foot shorter as they had rammed the dockside, this was repaired and the it went to wales, picton's I think. Thats all I know dude.

Yep the boat has had a small repair at the front it only looks a small job as the first couple of inches of the bow have been blown in.
The stereo is still in the boat but I have no tried it out yet
The boat had ssmIV on when I bought it do you know if the were on when you seen it as Drambuie? As it was originally built with TRS drives

I thought it was built for the Drambuie brothers, complete with Gentry's and speedmasters.

It was used for some speed redord or another up in Scotland.

Howard Wretham looked after it for a while, and got pretty well used to pulling the heads off the Gentry's!

It sat at Hamble point marina for a long time before it arrived at Merlin Quay.

There was a famous pic of it in France with Chuck Burnett on board with this mamouth breasted topless old rat stood on the foredeck...well funny.

mebbe we could find a copy of the that pic, and post it.

I just spoke with David Sewell in an attemp to track down the picture of the large breasted woman.

It seems Mr Burnett purchased all the pics from David, at a more than reasonable price (inc negatives!!)

He does however, remember that her name was Mercedes!

I seem to remember a story about her being led around on a dog chain at some event or other as well?
