Turning in or out?

HI!

I am rigging twins on a P 25. Do you reccommend to spin the props in or out?

depends, out is faster and in is better handling or it might be the other way around

Turning in or out

HI!

Turning in (the starboard prop turning starboard) gives more bowlift, and is normally faster. However, turning in is more unstable than turning out. V hulls normally use turning in to get more bowlift, and cats turns out to add stability. Cats do not need bowlift either due to natural lift.

Only looking for some views here, since there are several P25's running twins out there.

Toffen............. I think you'll find pretty much every 25 that raced here had twins.

Turning in or out

Hi!

Yes! I am happy for that!

My boat was rigged with a Evinrude V8 3.6 Offshore from the beginning in 1985. I bought it in 1998.

I discovered a year ago that the P 25 was made for twins and racing, and that trigged me to buy two 2.5 EFI engines. With a single engine the boat has always run flat and required positive trim. I understand why now.

Look forward to a fun and fast summer!
