Urgent!!

Need help.

Kitten and I have been asked to give a little help to the guys we worked with on Scrapheap challenge.

They're doing a shoot on friday at Beaulieu Motor Museum on a show called 'Car of the Year'.

We/They need to borrow a shed load of boating associated boating 'kit'., ie, fenders, inflatable tenders, ropes, boating atire, life jackets, etc, etc, etc

They're basically doing a test of 4x4's capacity (5 different 4x4's) and need to put together a large compliment of kit (x5) to load into said cars, similtaniously.

So we need to borrow a right big load of that kinda crap.

We also need a load more people, we currently have 10, including myself, Kitten, bob Mcarthy, Mike Ring etc, but need like another ten people to come and appear on the show. Loading crap into these 4x4's, changing wheels on sports cars (to acertain how easy each model is) etc.

So if anyone has any boating crap they could lend, or is free on friday to join in on the shoot, or both, please respond asap (it's this friday!!)

JF

Morning Steve, yes, all we can get!

fenders, life jackets (the big old bulky type) etc etc.

I have a roll up inflatable tender that goes into a bag (a SIB) if anyone has one of these it would be good (they idealy need 5!)

The idea is to attempt to load up these various 4x4's with bulky 'boaty' stuff, so I guess large holdalls would also be good, I have a couple of those, I'm sure others do too.

Could you make it tomorrow Steve?

Jon

Mr Foolish has just pointed out that stuff like Ringos and other inflatable toys (no, not those type Chaos) would be perfect.

Are ya gonna wear yer Homer Simpson T?

Sounds like a fairly typical (play it as it happens) production!

Had a fun day today at Beaulieu, despite the rain.

It was a show hosted by Johnny Vaughn for the 'DAVE' TV channel. He's quite a character that Vaughn, very funny.

Mike Ring and I teamed up for the pitstop wheel change (on the new VW Scirroco) and won by miles, as Mike said, not bad for a combined age of 113! he certainly doesn't look 77, he must have had an easy life.

I'd like to thank Mike, Steve, Andy, Adrian, Matt & Lawrence for their help and for making the effort, and of course to the west country mob, good to meet the dodgy honda lot.

Kittens second TV appearance alongside me was sadly again fruitless, but I guess he's getting used to it now.

Show should air mid October, will post when they let me know a firm date.
