How did Steve Stepp get dragged into this? He has never built a boat with a stepped hull.

The step towards the stern of Isacsson's Flying Flipper bears no resemblance to the notched keel pad transom of Stepp's Velocities.

I used to sell Flipper boats and have run and raced five Velocities over the years so I am fairly familiar with both marques. Have I have missed something?

12m in the Atlantic? You mean the same body of water I live off? How big are they in the Baltic Sea?

Wrong, it's not arrogant to toss out the facts, you just don't like them. It also takes two to tango.

For what itīs worth Reggie would make a great stand in for Spock in Star Trek and he wouldnīt need even to change his outlook, None of it infact
Reggie has done quite a bit for the sport and has set multiple records to show for it. Not to mention he is probably the largest manufacture of performance boats in the world.
Lastly, nobody cares what some little Finney kid thinks.

In the UIM classes in the late 80īs Steps were ventilated with exhaust gases in Europe but those got banned.
Uh, ok and so?

They build here in the U.S. because of the tax incentives given to them by the states. The cost to build the vehicles is less due to various factors such as the ability to run lean product management because of land costs etc.

Why do I know more about the legal cases where that patent right has been tried and proven not to stick in US put you?

You can claim a patent on a hull design put you canīt do anythiong more with it than use it for advertising...sorry.

Don't think you want to go there (that of course is vernacular, not to be taken literally).

I figured since we had been talking about the US coastline where I live you would be able to put two and two together, I guess not.

Really?

"Thunder was heard across the Pamlico at 7:00am as Reggie Fountain, CEO and President of Fountain Powerboats and Ben Robertson took their 42 foot Fountain onto the kilo course setting a first pass speed of 166.407mph and then making a blistering second pass speed of 177.359mph for a new world Super Boat International Productions, SBIP, record of 171.883mph. The American Power Boat Association/UIM, APBA/UIM, record of 171.004. This new record eclipsed the old record by over 10mph.

Oh I see, Rich Luhrs said it's so that makes it true?

Hint:The record books and racing records which are the hard cold facts say different.

Again, english is key, try using it.
I think you are trying to state these companies move here because of cheap labor which shows complete ignorance. If cheap labor was the reason then they would have gone to China or India. I know the workers in the local Ford plant here pull down well over $100,000 a year. That's cheap labor?

Sorry Jon,
I tried but common the guy makes absurd comments that are factually just wrong. This thread is similar to the threads about your videos, you just can't let the garbage go unchecked.
