"It" would be over 30 years old. I think it was raced lightly, in the late 1970's. I doubt it even exists anymore.

Wasn't as good as Skean Dhu, what I remuember most is during a Poole race after a "moment" turning a buoy near Boun emouth pier Fiona spat Derek Lloyd out and carried on for quite some time before she realised why her navigator had gone quiet

Ceal Na Mara

The boat raced in 77/78 and did 7 races and retired in all of them.In the CTC 77 she arrived at the first turn mark,West Lepe, wide but closing ,shot across two Class 1 boats and died on the buoy, but disaster was avoided.
Poor old Lorne, not one of his successes, but if your trying something new,you always run the risk of having a lemon on your hands. Not the first designer to experience that.Lady A always wanted to try something different more often than not, like tying an outboard motor to the back of a donkey when she was young. The boat was 30ft with 3 X Mercury = 525hp and was built by Gordon Wright.
