Hi all,
Some close up shots of boat. Hull has a number of bubbles on it with some of these opened up (see photo.) Top deck has some cracks around cockpit. I have photos if you want. Its a pity to see such a nice boat in this state. It would be great to see it restored but it will take a lot of time and resources. A knowledge of working with and repairing Kelvar would help.

Shame to see it in such a bad way - a lot of work to evr get her togther again.

Some of the carcks along spray raisl are not that surprising as it was built as a one-off, balsa and foam cored, then filled and faired. The spray rails were wooden and added after laminating, with I think just the inner edge bonded in.

But otherwise that is neglect of the strongest degree - and seeing the main longitudianls cut down in the cockpit

It really has no value as such - but hope it does not get cut up / left. It was still a significant boat and championship winning.......

That was a while ago! Actually I was selling it for the owner at the time - the boat was bright orange and called 'The Creative Native' - rather liked that.
