Whats A Man To Do?

Need some serious advice! currently have a 17ft Argo hull and trailer sitting at work, costing me storage.

Should I sell and give it up as one of those things?

Should I invest some money into an engine and race OCR again?

Should I invest in engine and sell to get bigger raceboat?

Should I invest money to rent out to other racers who wish to get started in the sport?

Any suggestions welcome!!!!

Photos included of boat as is now and in its heyday.
(Appologies for quality of photos!)

That is most likely Ed Basham in the top photo - I raced in that boat in Bangor Northern Ireland - had to lean out on the corners! We went well and he won the British Championships in that boat! No idea what it would be like with a 140 on it - might be a bit small?

Thinking more of a 90hp Tohatsu to race OCR B class. At the same time desperate to move up to the bigger classes, 16 years on and off racing 1.3L OCR. Could do with a change!!

Seems like you have answered your own question. Sell the Argo and get something bigger to race 1.8ltr OCR, or come and join us in 2ltr offshore.
Personally, unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money on beefing up the top mounts on a 90 Tohatsu, I would go for the 90 Yam.
