whats your plans?

As its that time of year again when it goes a but quiet, whats everyones plans for next year? Aside from waiting for rules etc
what would you plan on doing? Whats all rhe clubs doing? Social runs etc? Anyone planning on doing the brass monkey if it runs or the shakedown etc?

Any new boats on the horizon or getting your boats up and running again?

Hopeing for a Drivers to Guernsey run to take place , long long weekend would be great and as many boats as pos takeing part , a 2 or 3 days boating event would make it worth the haul to drivers for me , with the right weather i think it would make a fantastic weekend .

That would be awesome, you'd get to see the delights of jager trains galore and a nightclub that may as well be a wormhole to Eastern Europe...

My plan is to re-rig Megalodon as a more or less pure race boat, strengthen up the HO and pin it!

We were only just discussing something like this the other night! We've got quite a few plans for poker runs over here, to have one from the UK would be awesome. We'd like to include a time challenge from Guernsey to Jersey for a crack at setting a record, and a poker run around all the islands with a stop or two in france over a couple of days. It'd be mainly for the bigger boats, but if you've come from the UK it wouldn't seem bad at all!
Long weekend in April looks good...

James

Hi James as you know i was all set up for the run to Guernsey last year ,and even moved my holiday back a week so i could make it , not sure why but that event got called off,so i think if a date could be set early would be better for a lot of people and dates wouldnt clash , as for me nothing booked till sep,so any date suits me , Its a shame we cant book the weather but that life , iam in for this one , paul
