Where to use boat

Hi I live in Northampton which is about as far away from the sea as you can be in this country. I use my boat on inland lakes at the moment but am sick of going round and round in circles. Can anyone recomend some places where a first timer on the sea could use a boat (its a Marshan 18 with a Johnson 150). Any info such as slipway use and costs parking etc would be much appreciated.
Steve.

Probably the nearest to you would be Norfolk Coast or for more protected waters suffolk, somewhere like Levington...
The local council will give you costs and public slipways...enjoy

lyme regis is good, get out most states of tide. need to get there early to get a parking space in the bottom car park. costs to launch not sure how much need insurance.
Weymouth is also good, launch anytime again you have to pay and need insurance

Most costs are between £10 and £15 quid

Where to launch

Heres the advert bit--Allhallows Yacht Club, Seafront, Allhallows, Rochester Kent. ME3 9SY www.ayc.uk.com Membership £200-00 ish 2 ramps with electric winches, locked security compound for boat storage with caretaker living on site. Leave your boat there travel down, admittedly not the nearest, its not really a Yachty club at all, 70% power boats 30% PWCs, 100% drinking, Bar is open Friday Sat, Sun. Mention me and ask for a form, we host powerboat and waterski racing.

Barry
Club President (there ive said it)! not many people know that!!
