XR2 head gaskets??

Hi, in need of a quick reply so posted here sorry. I have an XR2 that might have a cooling problem, i want to remove the heads to inspect the water ways etc and have been told you can reuse the head gaskets. Is this true or just false economy?

Many thanks

I already told you the answer to that question at lunch time! Besides if they are not in good enough nick to re-use I'm pretty sure I've got some 'in stock' under my bench!
