year of phantom

How do i tell the year of my Phantom 21 ? all i can see is under the deck it has the markings 058c.

Have a look at the right hand side of the transom.....there's also a thread on here somewhere that explains it.

Thanks mike, but transom has been sprayed and the number on the back has been covered over.

i found jons thread. can some one please confirm its a 1990 boat number 58 out the mould, built by steve baker

yup, Steve obviously built alot of 21's that year!! may even be an early 1991 if it was the 58th boat

It will be a boat from the period Apr 1989 to Mar 1990, so not a '91, and it doesn't mean they built 58 P21's, It means it was the 58th boat built within that period by Phantom counting all boats across the range.

I would guess it's an early 1990.
