Can any one tell me what it is ? Engine size ? Boat size ? Is it a class that runs in multiple clubs eg Sepa/OCR do they run them in Europe what's the most competitive combo of boat and engine make ? Oh and any planned changes like compulsory 4 strokes in 2015 that sort of thing.

Guernsey worlds 3A& 3B

have a look at the thread on muster area started by SEPA, should give you enough info to get you motivated to get building. it's looking good already! we will also be allowed to present the Guernsey Gold cup! last won by a class 1 boat years ago. It will go to overall winner of series, so it could be won by 3A or 3B team..... you don't get to put it in your trophy cabinet as it is real gold and silver, but you can come and visit it any time

Wasn't the Guernsey Gold Cup awarded to Warpath last year?

Can someone also clarify exactly how the minimum weight would apply to a 6.5m boat? Our combined crew weight is well over the 130kg stated, so how does that translate to boat weight?

Cheers!

For 3A the crew is inclusive in the final weight of the whole outfit - 700kg all up.
Monohull only
Minimum length - 5.75m Maximum length - 7m

Cool thanks! Because I'm .75m over minimum length do I need to add 37.5kg to that too? Is it 50kg per extra metre?

If you are talking about 3B then yes you would need to add 50kg per metre but in 3A there are no penalties just an all up weight of 700kg (the boat, crew and safety equipment)
