British Club Championship Rules and Associated Paperwork.

In order to assist everybody understand the rules and the procedures for the British CLUB Championship (2012), we thought that it might be useful to post the following documents here on Boatmad.

You can see the minor changes that have been made to the Club racing rules to allow the new BCC rules to apply, and that these changes are just a small amount. Hopefully this will help to encourage new teams into the Championship.

Further announcements will follow about assistance in entering this Championship.

Measurement Certificate

I can see mention of a measurement certificate for a canopy boat,I presume open boats do not need them?I only mention this as the extra cost and hassle of getting this sorted could put people off Cheers Nic

Measurment Certificate

There is no requirement for a measurment certificate for open boats, just a requirement to fill in a boat registration form, which can be done at the event to register the boat with the RYA.

This is to keep it all as simple and cost effective as possible.

Dont forget the offer of assistance to new teams for issues and proceedures such as this, as detailed within the previous thread titled "Assistance for new teams entering British Club Championship" which will ensure trouble free entrance into any race.
