Change of Briefing Date.
To all Venture Cup Teams,
Unfortunately we have had to cancel the 3rd November Race Briefing. We have therefore re-arranged the Race Briefing for Saturday 24th November and will be going back to the same location as last March – The Royal Naval & Royal Albert Yacht club in Portsmouth. Briefing will start at 11am sharp - there is much to tell you so please be there.
ML.

Nope, it's because we won't be in the UK on that date now. Unfortunately not at Key West!

It's standard UIM rules, there is a link to new proposals above and you can download current regulations from the UIM.

The new Venture Cup website is now up and live. We're doing a soft-launch of it initially to ensure that everything works properly and to allow us the time to get more information in there. Have a look and let us know your thoughts, comments, criticisms, etc.

Yup - well spotted (and now corrected!)
We've now got details in for 30 entrants, with more being added all the time.

This is one of the Venture Cup sweep boats. 50ft long and capable of 45 knots + it's going to be looking after those race boats that run into trouble. Fully fitted with all safety and rescue facilities including Paramedic and the ability to cut boats free from nets it will prowl close behind the fleet every day. More info to follow.

I would imagine that would be a single engined boat? More power than Gordon but less than Swipes and us and a bit shorter as well.
