When you run Cowes 2011 with the budget I had, patience and other words tend to spring to mind!

Timescale not as fast as I would like, but Alisdair has nearly edited, David Graham Smith will do the voice over.

This project not as quick and efficient as the calendars or Buzzi Books.

Update

Nearly there.

Commentary done - creative editorial discussion going on whether to add more interviews (DGS in David Lean mode).

I will send out just as soon as I can.

It's done.

I have been waiting for over a week to receive the film from the editor so I can copy the DVD's and send out.

Can't wait for this, I'm so glad you went to the effort of doing it.
I've watched the preview vid so many times I now love the backing track and have downloaded the John Butler Trio Album!

Cowes Torquay Cowes 2011 DVD

Update.

More delays since my last post!

Alisdair, wanted to include post race interviews after he watched the final cut.

The film is now 110% made & edited, it was put in the post to me on Sunday evening.

I look forward to the seeing the Postman tomorrow so I can start burning the DVD's! *

I have enclosed a picture of the DVD Box Cover which I am having printed in my local village.

*1 question for techies, do I burn onto DVD + or - discs?

I used DVD + for Cowes 2010 - Is it an issue?

Also - The film is in HD PAL - Will US customers be okay with this?
