MArathon Entries

Come on Marathon Chaps; get those entries in.
Cinzano confirmed.
Anybody brought the Dry Martini seat yet? ; once in a lifetime opportunity !
Courses obviously now published, 75 miles so not a fortune in fuel.
See you all there.

Sorry guys Dry Martini will not be at Lymington. Ashley Nihell had stepped up to the plate and I'm sure was looking forward to having a good race with me and Christian. Sorry for the letdown. Unfortunately it just became too complex logistically. Licensing was not the only issue but it was enough to sway my decision. My APBA/ UIM International with US letter authorizing competition in all European offshore events (used at Cowes for the last three years) was no good at this particular event and would have to be rescinded, then an RYA licensed purchased, Physical, etc. Sally Windsor was very helpful in this matter and I thank her for her advice and efforts in trying to alleviate this problem. Being based in the US of course does not help but that will be rectified in the near future. Look forward to more racing in the UK soon.

Pretty cool when we sorted out those cheap APBA licence's with Gloria back in 2010!

The link to Race Instructions is here >> Link

Parking in Lymington is very difficult.

I would hope like me, you can work out it yourself.

Probably Hurst is the best view of the race from land. Although you can get close to the boats at Lymington, you won't see any of the race itself. Check the RI's for the course details.

Ok thanks for that as I had no idea where would be the best place.
Ill try and catch the race and get down to see some boats close up.
