Hi Alice
Thats my old Ring 24 great boat it did have a pair of Johnson 225's with stand off bracket. Where was the pic taken ?

haha! Thats Ron ( a buddy of mine) boat Ring 24' - being seen at the Folley isn't a surprise at all!!

I believe he brought off of 'Scab Racing' and then spent a bit of time getting the well cut out the back out trailing to get the 250 put on!
It is a beautiful boat handles very well and gets 50Knts 4 up! Fingers crossed if the weather is nice tomorrow I shall be giving her a run out in The Solent!

I also under-stand the boat is up for sale for the right mount of £'s

Why did he cut the well in the back rather than stay with the stand off ? Looks in good condition next time your out lets have a few more photo's

The Boat still has a small stand off bracket on the back, I don't really know the ins and outs of why but , I think it was to do with being able to trim it up and also fitting the steering how he wanted. The boat is in top condition can really fault it at all! Next tim we are out I will get a few more snaps for you all.

was this boat originally kept up the river arun in littlehampton at the ship?

the engines cowling had cheqs on it?
