I knew that................i was asking what specifically............i.e is it genuine, a maltese or belgiun relation.........famous ex racer.........i/b....outboard???

yep,new bulk heads etc,going back in, it had biggest bow tank ever seen ,full length of bow.

good guess, hutchy reckoned about 70, by the way i couldn't believe how big them optis are, they're feckin massive compared to my motor.

Pete Armstrongs other 28 'Brut', built for cruiser racing (quite light construction) ran 71.8mph on windermere in 93, or 94,that had 2.4 200's on it (2 of) so not that much of a guess really.
