as the rig is carbon fibre and on minimum weight,it was more than i planned,but after taking it to coniston and getting 3b national speed record without too much effort i think it was money well spent

Also what are the rules for your class to make a record attempt in class 3B?
the national 3b mono record was 59mph set in 2003,we had runs with a max of 64 one way but came away with an average of 62.8 with more to come. Rules as far as i know is that it has to be a measured 3b boat competing in the uk
