If I´m not mistaken, wasn´t there a phantom (or similar hull) rigged with a Rover V8 many moons ago? I remember seeing it at a race out of Hamble - it sounded great, but that was about it.

Mike Bellamy had an old style P23, with a 3.8 litre Jaguar straight six, driving through a LM surface drive.

There was another one (P23) Blue, May have started life as uniflo or something may have be with mick Blunt for a while ???

Ah, that'll be why he seemed keen when I was looking for a marinising kit to put a 4.2 Jag engine into me first rib.
