All Our Yesterdays
I mentioned in another thread that providing there we no objections I would lift a few pics from Bill Shakespeare's Book. It's a Part Racing part Auto- Bio read and first class if you can find a copy. Older gents please make your comments there are a lot of old names here. I have tried to capture Bill's comments on each photo along with the Photographer, credit accordingly.
In no order other than as they appear in the book some I have left out so it's not the full 100% didn't wanna break the spine as I've not seen another copy for years.
Right off we go !!!!

After looking at all those pics I feel hombled to take our race series back to Chasewater this year. What an oportunity to race into the history books where so much has gone before.
I knew Chase was steeped in history but these wonderful pics bring it to life

Excellent thread Mr Fin.
Mebbe there should be a higher resolution version of it in the media gallery.
Graham intimated to me the other day, that he has another whole archive on circuit, that we haven't seen yet!

I paid a £1 for mine or 24 Shillings or 144 Pd
but that was in 196.EEKKKKKKKKKK.............8
That was a lot of pocket money I used up too.
Sure was an inflation buster bargain at £2.50

Such a shame, I bet most of the TV footage mentioned in the book has been
lost over the years.

Blufin I've passed a link of this thread on to a chap down at the Falmouth Maritime Museum as he is up-dating the powerboat racing displays and media, when I told him about this he was over the moon.
He has some info but not as good as the info in the book, well done
