First boat is having a 250 HO ETec!

After that who knows. Would be great to do some back to back testing with different engines.

Going to be a RIB version from the same hull as well (mould taken) - so should be some more boats coming to the UK in time. At the same time I don't really want to be a boat importer / retailer - so ideally will be looking for agents.

Looking at late January - but can see it slipping a week or two!

Bringing in three boats, one of which I need to rig pretty quick and get on the water. Then for some nice cold weather testing!

Latest progress, photo showing hull and deck for first boat. All structures complete, fuel tank and ballast tank fitted. Should have photos of the hull / deck joined in next few days.

Boat 2, deck is complete, hull mostly complete.

Boat 3, (ski race spec), started laying up deck and hull to start as soon as hull 2 is out of the mould.

Really moving along quickly now that the initial boat and build processes have been sorted out.

Also got a fourth boat to be built for China.

Probably from the same family of lines!

The 4 litre boat (29') was designed / built around 1994 - then the building plug was re-designed / shortened (1997) for my 23' 3C boat that is now Black Thunder.

The bow sections of these boats worked really well - so no doubt some of the features are carried over!

Looking good

When are you planning to ship the 3 boats back to the UK?
Really looking forward to seeing the deck and hull together.

Hi Cye
Absolute latest date they can leave is 25th Jan - due to their shut-down for Chinese New Year. Had hoped for earlier than this - but boat building... The container will be shipped direct to Southampton.

Trying to arrange as much as possible to get straight onto rigging the first boat as soon as they land. Got all major items covered.

Will get some more pictures up later this week.

Many thanks

Looking at three weeks - so will be straight onto rigging when it arrives! Will probably get a fair bit done elsewhere to speed it up.

Also some of the basic rigging already carried out,. tanks, some of the cockpit etc.

I will hopefully be able to confirm shipping dates very soon.

Looks really nice, well done! Any idea on price yet? Will they all be manufactured over there?
