Hi Keiron
Best to give me a call on 01983 528820 or 07786 454485.

At the moment my plan is to do some special prices on the first three boats and then prices will have to go up on the next batch of boats to be imported.

As always many specs and options to sort out depending on what is wanted.

Adam

Couple more photos thanks to Simon.

Next outing for the boat will be at Allhallows on 25th / 26th.

Really looking forwad to the next test with a few propeller changes.

Firefly - Aquavite RIB

Early photo of the first RIB using the same hull. Nearing completion and shipping to Europe.

Yes the Technohull 888 is an Aquavite. A 9M RIB and that is really flying - 83 mph with a 300XS

I was using the Aquavite name for a project - but then had boatbuilder clients who wanted to use the name - so I have now decided to use it as a name for a new series - basically any very fast monohull hull form that I design. Now hopefully for some larger AquaVITES.

Although the RIB above comes into the series it will be marketed as a Firefly by Watermark Marine.

ps - had literally just e-mailed you when you posted!

Awesome.

What a stunning boat Adam - congratulations on a great job!

I am very tempted to buy one as a pleasure boat. What do you think the ideal motor for it is?

Will we see any of these AquaVITE 23 boats racing in Class 3C this year?

I wonder what it would go like with an XR2 / 200XS???

All the Best

Jacques.

Many thanks Jacques - for pleasure use I think anything 200 upwards would be great - especially the EPA engines with bigger cc. Only really had a few hours in the demo boat with the 250 E-Tec and certainly flies with that - but also cruises really easily around the 60 mark. I'm sure a 200 E-Tec HO would make a great package as a leisure boat as well.

I would love to see one race in 3C and think she would do very well - especially when a little bumpy. But being honest - to be really competitive when it is calmer we would need to have build a light-weight weight spec boat, take out some of the extra interior mouldings etc. Would be very interesting and hopefully an alternative route.

There is a possibility of a race series for these boats out in the East - with many of these points addressed and possibly a race deck version.

Anyway - thanks for the interest and if you want a run out any time let me know.

Adam

Think I might be a bit bias But overall - very pleased.

Still very low hours on the boat and yet to do much prop testing / set-up work.

Will hopefully find some time soon.

A long over-due up-date.

All three of the batch imported to the UK have now been sold and will all be used for a mixture of race and pleasure. I just delivered one to Liverpool docks yesterday.

There maybe some more built for export - but the builders do not know if they can build them profitably taking into account exchange rates and shipping costs - so they may just be looking at their local markets.

She's coming along well now eh! I'll have to check the rules on helmets though, I can't remember what percentage has to be orange, yours looks like it'd be close, but it's gorgeous!
