I think Niall has been able to sort out a 2.5 and some other bits like a side ram, wing plate etc etc. Thanks for the offer anyway.

Start with a 24 yam drag or ET. What gear ratio is it?
Bring it to Torquay in may and I'll bring a load of props.

The gear ratio is a 1.87:1 and I don't know if Niall is planning to take the boat off island or not, I will let him know that the offer is there if he want to do that.
When that backdraft last raced over here I have been told, best top speed was 74 gps in perfect conditions short sharp chop 9 stone nav Blueprinted & Balanced XR2 7200 revs 26 spinellie cleaver, but I don't know what gear ratio was used, I will ask try and ask him.

Bloody good going that to swing a 26" to 7.2k with an xr2. Must have a lot of slip based on speed.
