Boatmad video Gallery

All the videos on boatmad, will now be hosted on a seporate site, where they'll be handled by some nice snazzy gallery software.

I'm currently in the process of updating all the links to the various videos that have been hosted here, so some may not work yet, if you're aware of any that don't work, please post letting me know.

It does now, both from the homepage and from Jon's link above.
It's split into 2 seperate sections, multimedia & readers rides. We'll probably have a bit of a re-org of them once we see how it's going and start to build up a bit of a library archive.

As an experiment, the vids are now hosted on a different server, which should be much faster. If anyone has any trouble, or the download speeds of the vids seems very slow, please let me know - including, if possible, the vid you were trying to download, the date & time you were downloading, and the url of the video (right click on the vid and choose properties if viewing it embedded in the gallery)
Cheers
M

Strangely enough, when i'm towing my boat behind the Pajero (nearly 4 tons with trailer) I can never get the same mpg figures as I can without!!...never quite understood that!

Is it feasible that pulling all that weight affects my mpg, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Chaos, you're a nob!!

Hey Jon / Matt How much does "Leviathan" / "Distant Rumble" weigh ? (including engines Matt )

just trying to get a rough idea as i am looking for a trailer suitable for the "Abbate" and was hoping to get as near to the 3.5 ton limit as possible

nope, clearly you are!

I dont recall grumbling or indeed implying that the d/load speed should have been faster. I simpply stated how long it took and what other stuff i was doing at the time.

and as i said, i will do it again withouth anything else running and post that so the lanky bod knows how its all going.

ginger prick!

Hmm. You'll be lucky. The 'book' weight of my boat is 7200 lbs I think dry, and the trailer has to weigh a ton, it's a big fkkn thing.

Jon's is quite a bit lighter I should think - much lighter boat, and ali trailer.
