cheers tony,i love that sound. now then i filled the boat up at cobbs quay(top of poole harbour) when i picked it up and took it round to port solent (top of portsmouth harbour),cruising at 2500-3000 revs,40 - 50mph. went out in it again last night and filled it up to see how much fuel i used . to my delight(and i still find it hard to believe) we used 53 litres. what an engine that 6.2 is

It's surprisingly very quiet, as once you get going, the roar of the engine disappears with the wind.. Kinda loud in Port Solents lock tho..

I know exactly how your feeling right now, I picked mine up from Drivers on Saturday and drove it back to poole. Really pleased with the boat, it's so much better than I thought it would be. Got some bad sunburn tho!

Good luck with it!

For a 21 foot boat, I thought it wouldn't be so comfortable in the chop, but it doesn't feel that different to the 26 (I can only compare to P.Brains old boats) ... I was worried when looking at Ring 20's / 21's etc that as soon as it chopped up I'd get beaten to pieces, I wanted a boat that I could use a lot and not just when it's calm. I'm absolutely made up with it, you don't often get that feeling when you buy something and your way more pleased than you thought you would be! Love it!

P.S. I would look little next to you Tony!

Just kidding! Actually, I'm not as slim as I used to be!
