Cig crash

Can anyone tell me what happened out there?
Did they done too tight turn or something??
There is no wake anywhere

Its due a stepped bottem,first you see the back slide away ,and then the back gets grip and breaks hard ,thus throwing the people out .
Probably trimmed wrong position,and too tight cornering
There are more stepped bottems doing this ,also at higher speeds ,when fully trimmed in on a stepper ,the driveangle pushes upward,to lift the stern,and while the steps taking care of an aerated surface under the bottem it can be slippery while cornering ,some steppers can be turned with level or little positive trim to avoid this

The Americans have been blaming this behaviour on stepped bottoms for a while, but boats have been throwing people out since they first went on the plane!

Ps steps don't aerate the surface, the reduce drag by reducing the wetted area.

Unfortunately he wouldn't win that argument not having built for a few years now.

Would have been interesting to see how he would have developed his designs if he were a little younger.
