Can you pull from gel coat?
I'm thinkin that in the long run it would be harder wearing and cheaper than paint if i gelled, flattened and polished them?

yes you can pull from gel coat, your right in saying its harder wearing and also a lot more harder to rub down!!!!

But I'd probably only ave to do it once?
As opposed to rubbing down lots more coats of paint in the future!

Have been tidying up seats to make them look good for this project, have learnt lots from these and am confident the next pair will be much better

The grey stuff and marks on the gel is where the paint from the mould stuck to it and the green stuff is tape i used to cover the point where the two halves of the mould came together...
