Extreme 21, unloved!

Oh dear, I really liked this one, guess the owner doesn't.

OK, you're right.

It looks like Chaos has owned it for a couple of days.

It's in a storage yard in Poole, but as far as I know it ain't for sale.

It's heartbreaking to see it, as we put a lot of effort into building it for the Southampton show, and it's the only one I've ever built that i considered keeping for myself.

I took a Picton in P/X, which I sold to a copper who then discovered it was listed as stolen! Made for an interesting conversation.

It later turned out that the boat had been put up for sale with the local marine auctions, who had sold it but hadn't told the owner. Luckily for all this meant that the boat wasn't stolen, but the funds from the sale were.

That sounds unusual a local marine auction that sold boats then weren't in a hurry to tell the owners !!

One of the first jobs we did when I bought the moulds was to chip off all the pink gel, just incase questions were asked!

I think I met you at the Southampton show a few years ago. (maybe 10!!!!!)

We built it with a 5.0 carb motor, and after the first season the owner asked for more speed. We fitted a fuel injected b/b, (454 mpi) making it into a 70mph boat, and it was brilliant, but he still wanted to go quicker, although he terrified his family and friends in it and mostly boated solo.

As far as I know he went through a divorce, and currently works in Germany. He did ask a couple of years ago if we could convert it to an outboard, but haven't seen or heard of him since. He's up to date with his storage charges though!

No.

I'm making a pair for someone at the moment, and with the frames they're about £1200.00, what colour(s) would you like, and I'll do a pair for you?
