Burty, Gregg Bassams got a 2.5 with carbs for sale, if all your efi bits are ok then you can just rebuild the front end. I bought the other engine (they were off a twin) and they had just been rebuilt by Gregg , ran it in the worlds, sweet as a nut. We now have the option of puttin our efi front end on,as i got an engine lookin just like yours in my garage.

cheers dude but engine inc all electrics already in states plus having some internal work done so sticking with that. isn't your broken engine a 280??? if so i'm not sure it will fit????

No i thought i'd av a change so i nicked the name off Fred's old boat which is now The edge, still got a little Phantasm on the back though. It looks like it will be up for sale soon, lack of interest from team for next season!

Thought about gettin a play engine for it, still workin on the figures! Got the missus in it yesterday for the first time, but she's still not sure about kneeboarding at 80! so i'll have to do somethin.
