The design didnt really come from anywhere. Its just the same dismentions as a steve salmon shifter plate with boat name and model cut/etched into using the font I use for my boat. The font being a closely guarded secret of course!

One the throttle had been removed from the shifter/throttle setup then it left rather a large area on which something could be cut into.

You like it then Chaos?

I did a drawing in Flash exactly to scale then printed it on photo paper and then fitted that to the salmon shifter itself then gave that to Dan to give him something to make the CAD drawing from and by the looks of things hes got the plate made exactly how I drew it in flash.
