FB Design 38 STAB on river Itchen?

Did I see a FB Design 38 STAB with twin mercury outboards on the river (Itchen) the other day? Anyone know the story? Looked really tidy.

The C12 cat is pretty and looks like it could be fun.

Thanks for taking an interest Marc. Did you mean the open or the decked rib?
The top speed depends on set-up, if set-up for top speed, we hope the decked version will approach a speed of 60knots. The open rib will be a bit slower as it not as aerodynamic efficient.
I will be building a hard version (no tubes, attached) this winter, if things go according to plan, and should be able to tell more when this is tested.
Have spent a lot of time on the drawing board trying to get as much speed as possible out if this hull without sacrificing the rough water performance.
Testing will show if it works or not....

STAB 2x 300 Verado's

To satisfy your curiosity it is a STAB with 2 x 300 Verado's, and i was lucky
enough to be on it for the start of the CTC / Poole race yesterday. Superb
hull and experience running to Hurst with the teams following.
